Pooja Chauhan, a 22-year-old housewife from Rajkot took the extreme step of walking on the streets in her undergarments to protest against mental and physical harassment for bearing a girl child and for not bringing dowry. Due to this the police reacted immediately and arrested her husband Pratapsinh Chauhan, parents-in-laws and two of her neighbours after she threatened to scale up the protest by walking completely nude to the Police Commissioner's office.

and those newspapers is making a lot of hype,by prnting her photos all over....and as for pooja,there are quiet a lot women organisation/assosiation to help her out,waking on streets in undergarments is not an answer,it will get her into more trouble.

Read this and also saw this news online.I refrained from posting her pics.
Hemi is saying, media needs money and they post her pics all over. Loki tells the same. But what are we guys gaining by posting her pics in this thread? Just the news will do right?
She has suffered already and this what we got to see is a result of her pain.
The latest news is that it is not abt dowry harassment. it is abt prostitution.
PS: Kindly think for a moment before posting such pics.

I don't agree with you. She's gone through a lot. She took this extreme step after nobody paid a heed to her complain including the police officials who refused to register FIR. How much more could she tolerate the torture!! It was only after this step that her husband and her in-laws were arrested!
AND the public attention always helps. Esp. when the media are at it, things always work out coz of the pressure!!
