Just wanted to thank each and everyone of of you in our community. We are now fast approaching 10k registered members on FE and rapidly increasing our traffic.

Today we also won the award for one the best vBulletin powered websites on this planet

from a top vBulletin webmaster site.

It is a recognition of a great site, features, design and last but not the least of a buzzing community

We plan to add more and more of new things on FE. A lot of them you will see in a staggered implementation soon. Thank you everyone for the support!

Hmmm, I guess even the ones in buddylist should be able to see who is online and in invi mode.

i.e both should add each other as buddy, that would be a good option.

Just a small request though
I know i enabled the invisible guest browsing, but please use it if you really need to. If everyone starts browsing invisibly, then people will think there is no one active on the forum at all(as it doesn't show in who's online)

(Only one thing worries me a bit...i know its gr8 for FE to get more recognition worldwide..but somehow it makes me feel tht the more members keep coming, the more it may become commercialized..i hope it doesnt go tht way, Sardaar. Today, FE is like a close knit family. We all know each other so well. We pretty much have an idea of whats going on in everybody's life here. In short, its like this place has got a heart..and a life of its own. We are a family. I'm just worried tht too much publicity and commercialization may ruin this close knit family. Maybe i'm just old fashioned..

i feel this way cos i dont want to lose this family, or see it breaking up. I dont know about others, but FE is the biggest stress buster for me. I cant tell u how it feels like when i dont get to be on FE for evn a single day. Its like i missed a very important routine of my day...like we feel when we dont get to meet or talk to our family members..its like coming home. I cant really explain it, but FE is more than a website to me, and i long to keep coming back to it, all the time.
And frankly, i'm just being honest, but i dont want FE to go TE's way. I mean, TE is very famous, i know...but it doesnt have a heart.. It seems so dead to me, in some way. Sorry, no offense meant to anyone who likes it. We all can have our opinions, na?
I just hope, we stay this way, always...no matter how big FE gets. Like a family.

Its not a great idea according to me...

Now just everyone wud want to stay invisible.

I say, u really remove this feature, sardaar..its not needed...

It will really make it look as if there are very few members online all the time..
And your request is not going to work...ppl will always want to stay invisible..

I'm against it..i hope i can gather some support on this.

I really love close knit communities which we are, which explains why i am here most of the times

Once a site gets too big, you tend to lose out on who is who. Actually i won't mind if FE remains a guest driven community. We are a happy lot of members here

and guests take care of any commercial aspects

Actually thats why one of the new features i told you about will be quite independent on FE from the main site. Thats there for guests and i know i don't want that to dilute the community

And about invisible members, well i did it for some people who really need it. Ad i think i can trust everyone of the small group to use it when they really have to

Lets see if they live upto that
