Presenting Web 2.0 Tagging on FE
You might have notice the rather curious "Tags" keyword all over forum today.
What are these Tags?
Think of a tag as a simple category name. People can categorize their posts with any tag that makes sense to them. A more complete definition:

A tag is a (relevant) keyword or term associated with or assigned to a piece of information (e.g. a picture, article, or video clip), thus describing the item and enabling keyword-based classification of information.
Tags are usually chosen informally and personally by the author/creator or the consumer of the item. Tags are typically used for resources such as computer files, web pages, digital images, and internet bookmarks (both in social bookmarking services, and in the current generation of web browsers - see Flock). For this reason, "tagging" has become associated with the Web 2.0 buzz. Many people associate "tagging" with the idea of the semantic web, however some believe that tagging may not be having a positive effect on the overall drive towards the semantic web.
What tags do is to give you the power to categorize content into categories you feel the content falls into. You decide the keywords the thread fits into.
How does this help?
It helps as it becomes easy to categorize content without limitation of a single category. It makes it easier for you to find content plus easier for people who are new to find content based on keywords that are popular.
So is there anything popular right now?
Well you can always track whats popular by clicking "Tags" from the sidebar link(or top navbar in the no-sidebar style). Here is the link again:

Where can i view the tags?
The specific thread tags can be seen in any given thread just above the first post and also in the footer.
How do i add tags?
There are two ways. One is at the time you create the thread. Just below the title field, you have a tag field.
You can enter your tags(upto 10) in there or you can instead go into the thread view, scroll to the bottom and enter tags there.
What is the format for entering tags?
All tag keywords must be separated by commas. eg:
formula1,mclaren,scandal are tags that you can enter in say a formula 1 thread which should have those keywords. Make sure that the keywords are just that, keywords.
Don't write full phrases.
Is there any limits on number on tags
Yes. Some obvious limits. You can specify upto maximum 10 tags. Also the tags have to be decent. So all the decency rules have to be maintained.
