TVS motor profits drop 22%

TVS Motor Company,the flagship company of the USD 2.2 billion TVS Group, has posted 22% fall in its net profit for the quarter ended Sep`06.
The company registered a net profit of Rs 248.30 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared with Rs 319.50 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, as per BSE release.
Total income however increased to Rs 10887.50million for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 from Rs 8153.60 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, witnessing a rise of 33.5%.
The board of the company has declared an interim dividend of Re 0.70 per share on 23,75,43,557 equity shares of Re 1 each.

used to give our palio at sundaram .. they were officially in charge of sales and service and parts i guess till the tie up between them and tata
