i am not much active on FE or on TE these days but hopefully will be now ......

anyways i am looking to buy new bike as my CBZ will be 5 years old this dec and i am bored of it want to try something new ...... nope i am not selling it

......

i am considering following bikes

1 HH Karizma Fuel Injection (yet to be launched)

Pros: awesome engine gearbox, gr8 handling, very good riding posture, little weak in straight line accelaration when compared to 180 so 220 will be far better
cons: dated design, not quite a wheelie machine, lacks centain feature when compared to newer pulsar, little pricey

2 Pulsar 220 (yet to be launched)

model is not really launched to dunno about the pros and cons but from previous bajaj vehicles

Pros: cheap, full of features, DTSi, good quality meter and buttons
cons:no so gr8 handling, gearbox, engine not refined enough when compared to HH or honda or for that matter even to TVS
as far i have read bajaj have improved a lot in handling and gearbox but still waiting for final road test

3 Royal Enfield Machismo

pros: NONE
Cons: don't have enuf space for

but still the charm and aura of RE still exist ..... and machismo looks awesome ..... and with ES as an option u don't have to break ur leg .....

well..the zma is always a pleasure to drive..
according the journos who got to drive around the 220, they fixed all the gearbox troubles.

even the new p150 has its gearbox woes solved.

so, u have loads of choice in 2007.
The pulsar 200, 220 and the zma fi (if it shows up)

about the RE..well..no comments

Haiz.... i had made peace with this long back..

For me, Pulsar 220. I felt quite bad when i didnt go for the P180 back then. And had decided that I would take top of the line when I buy a bike next. So it is gonna be P220 and nothing else for me. And thankfully BAL will deliver good on this respect.

Winning features for me:

- read disc
- throttle responce
- tube less tyres
- 21BHP

etc etc
