Awesome final stage with everyone giving it their best to do well at the Champs-Élysées. Everyone gave it the best shot especially the Garmin Slipsteam but Mark Cavendish was just too good as usual


There should be some rules against launching missiles in cycling. And Mark is a missile Weapon of Mass Destruction. No one even cam close. (thanks largely to the propellant in the form of Mark Renshaw)


6th straight win for Cavendish. A pity he is not taking the green jersey but the guy is just too good and he will remain for a long long time

A wonderfull wonderfull Tour this year.

So many strong riders, so many controversies but still the worthy champion emergerd victorious.

This goes well for the sport that this even was drug free, though some late tests can turn positives but still no red handed catch within competition.

Lance Armstrong proved once again that he is totally drug free, perhaps the biggest motto of his comeback and he also succeded in gathering enough publicity for his new team.

I am waiting for next year with so many new teams waiting to crack the code of tour win

I am sure schlecks, wiggins, menchov will be stronger next year

I hope no one team comes as strong as Astana next year.
They just were too powerful and strong.

From all indications, the leaders will be in different team. Vino for Astana, Menchov for Rabobank, Armstrong for Radioshack, Contador for Slipstream and Schlecks for Saxobank.


Yes that should make for a very good tour next year


Btw there is a Tour of Ireland coming in August. Just 3 days long but by jove that would be a visual treat and all the lead contenders are taking part including lance
