No tennis lover around here ehh

(not surprising i might say

)
There was a 3 match exhibition series played last week at Macau between the two champs

The champion of modern era, Roger Federer and the undisputed champion of tennis world Pete Sampras took part in a best of 3 shootout at Macau.
While Federer's win were a foregone conclusion, Sampras displayed awesome grit and glimpses of his old form to beat Fedrer in the last match
Sampras never faced a break point and handed Federer a 7-6 (8), 6-4 defeat Saturday at the Venetian Macao arena, finishing 1-2 against the top-ranked Swiss player.
Considering Sampras is totally out of tennis, beating the god of tennis these days is an awesome feat
This is what the players said after the match
Sampras, ever the modest person "Let's not get carried away," he said at a news conference. "I had my time in the '90s." "He's a great, great player. He's got things in his game that I couldn't do," Sampras said. And Federer "I'm sort of surprised. This guy can play tennis, you know,"
"It's been tough beating my idol the last two times," Federer said. "I'm happy that he got me at least once." "I hope we can do it again in the future." "I'd like to get him back."
Its a pity they weren't competing in the same era cos it would have been a treat to watch two champions of the game
