The Great Khali aka Dalip Singh Rana is Professional wrestler at the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and He is back in India and just as You had thought we had seen enough of him on these news channels,the so called Khali-Mania refuses to die.... 
The words that these Channels use to describe khali arenothing short of utter nonsense,even though everyone TV Channel knows that WWE is all scripted stuff but they show as if its all for real.Tat bugger Aajtak n Headlines today have special senior correspondent tracking him throughout his journey in India starting from the USA...  Himachal Pradesh govt to honour Khali
The Himachal Pradesh government has decided to honour World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) wrestler Daleep Singh Rana alias Khali.
“The state will honour Khali, a native of Sirmaur district..,” chief minister Prem Kumar Dhumal’s office said here on Tuesday. Since Dhumal is busy campaigning for the May 22 Hamirpur Lok Sabha bypoll, “we are making efforts to find a suitable date for the function,” they added.
The decision to honour Khali was taken as he has acted as a kind of international brand ambassador for the state, sources said.
An official of the state government had presented a bouquet to Khali on behalf of the chief minister on his arrival in Delhi from US
 Khali with our crappy President of India Pratibha Patil who is ruining the Rashtrapati Bhavan's Image along with her family... There is a definite overdose of this so called Khali-mania and it has just started.Channels are goin ga-ga over him and it reached a height when one of those crappy hindi news channel (star news) even suggested a Padma Vibhushan to be confered to The Great Khali like it was given to Sachin Tendulkar... 
I accept that Khali's life is a story of rag to riches.Worked as a labourer in Shimla then a Cop in Punjab before jumping into Professional wrestling but a Padma Vibhushan...lol...this channels are surely insane...  ---------------------------------------------- |

I think the fool who arranged the metting of Khali with the president needs to be sacked.
This is utterly foolish and unacceptable. This guy hasn't achieved anything even in WWE. Fact is he is the anti hero there. Look at other WWE hero's be it HBK, Cena or among the old generation, Undertaker, Rock, Stone Cold, Jesse Ventura, Hulk Hogan; these guys were cult figures, american hero's in a way. How is Khali an Indian hero. He gets a knocking even from that pesky kid of Finlay
Its not uncommon though for WWE stars to meet presidents or run for office, Jesse Ventura went on to become Governor of Minesotta and just recently he even announced his intention to run for president ship(more a gimmick but there is a huge fanbase of his). Hulk Hogan is known to be a keen person with political leanings.
Only issue i have got here is these guys were champions, Not like Khali(that is to say rigged champions, well whatever  But Khali isn't even that). The president could have well done without this meeting. 
No Comments about Aaj Tak They have an old habit of racking up such issues and making it headline news.

omg,, look what i am seeing WWE bouts are real, not manipulated, says Khali The 7.3 feet tall Khali, currently taking a break after his around three-year stint in the WWE, rubbished the notion that performance of the wrestlers were manipulated by media during broadcast.
"Everything whatever you see out there is real. Sometimes wrestlers receive serious injuries, and even die on the ring. There is no way of manipulation by media," Khali told PTI-Bhasha.
And on a related note Shahrukh Khan | The Great Khali | Kolkata Knight Riders | Rama The Saviour Hyper-active Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan seems to have turned desperate. He was on pins and needles when the Indian Premier League (IPL) started a few of weeks ago with his team Kolkata Knight Riders winning two consecutive matches. However, King Khan seems to have sensed the danger following four consecutive defeats later. Now, the news is doing the rounds that he is roping in the one-time WWE Champion the Great Khali to support his team.
It is said that King Khan is doing all he could to lift his team to a safe position. And so, he is said to have offered Rs.3 crore to the Great Khali to cheer for his team. Khali had earlier signed to act in the film Rama The Saviour, starring Sahil Khan and Tanushree Dutta.
