Rustme Hind challenges the Great Khali

PATIALA: The Great Khali, the famous World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) grappler, is facing challenge from his own country.

Palwinder cheema, Rustme-hind has challenged him to fight with him under FILA rules.


The challenge came from Cheema immediately when Khali landed at New Delhi Friday night.

Palwinder Cheema, said here Friday night that if great Khali defeated him in wrestling to played under FILA rules he will forgo his title 'Rustme-hind'.

Grandson of Kesar Singh - former Rustme hind- Cheema said that if he defeated Khali than Khali should be divested form the title 'Mahan-Bali'.

Palwinder Cheema , medal winner at commonwealth and Asian games, said that if Khali will win medal at asian games or at Olympics he will respect him as great wrestler. Cheema nowadays has been preparing for Beijing Olympics. He said that Khali was a showman and befooling people by acting at WWE.

Khlai alias Dalip Singh Rana, 35, the tallest WWE wrestler at 7 feet 3 inches (217.5 cm) and weighing 190 kg, has faced challenge from Palwinder Singh Cheema, 25, with Height: 6' 5" Weight: 125 Kg.

One of the internationally successful stars in the Indian wrestling history, Palwinder Singh Cheema has won back to back Gold Medals at the Commonwealth Championship and Canada Cup.

Honoring his national and international success, Palwinder Singh Cheema was bestowed with the Arjuna Award in 2003. He won the Gold Medal in Indo-Pak Punjab Games in the following year.

Born on 11th November, 1982, Palwinder Singh Cheema has also won medals in Asian Games and other international tournaments. He is employed with the Punjab Police.

Lol ... these news channels make me sick. The words they use to describe khali is nothing short of ridiculous. I just don't get these news channels. India TV was the one bitching so much about khali as in how he was a fake and that wwe is not real and bla bla bla , now the same channel is going gaga over his return to India. Talk about double standards. But seriously i never imagined an Indian wwe superstar gaining so much popularity not only in the wwe but also all over India.
