Us open 2008

So the last open tournament of the season at flushing meadows
we know how desperately Fedex wants to win this one but rafa is not going to give him room easily this time plus you can expect major roles from andy roddick and djokovic

so let's discusss our views here................

(sorry for creatin thread quite late!!!!!)

Andy roddick will be the same story He is an excellent player, never flourished
Djokovic he can win this one i feel

I hate Roddick. He has a very predictable game. I haven't seen him playing anything other than serve and volley. Most good players know the flaws in his game and take easy advantage. He has roped Patrick Mc Enroe(Brother of John Mc Enroe and captian of US davis cup team) as his coach for US Open. Hope he can improve on his game.

Roddick got lucky the other day playing a newcomer from latvia(i forgot his name)
He absolutely demolished Roddick in the first set and then got tense after that. Even in the 4th he was playing well till the crowd got to him.
I just hate roddick Somehow the way he behaves and dresses is brash and hateful

Am only watching the night matches(which air mid morning in India)

Still not convinced that Fedex is fully ready to go the distance but he's a champion player and understands about how to get into the finals....

Djokovic, always been a fan and he has, (as I've said before), the ability to really rattle the top guys......... I'm hoping he'll get just a little bit higher in rankings after this round...

Roddick, hope he gets knocked out quickly......... Just don't like him.....

Nadal and Murray through to the quarters Nadal plays Mardy Fish next, on the womens side, both williams sisters, safina, dementieva and jankovich are through to the quarters

Fedex Roddick and djoka are up tomorrow

On the Womens side, its Dementieva vs Jankovich in the first semifinal

Djoka and Fedex had to go through 5-setters to get to the QF's, Roddick will play Djoka in the QF

Leander Paes is in finals of Men`s Doubles as well as Mixed Doubles.

hope he is able to capture one more title atleast. Most likely it will be mixed doubles as in mens one he is up against Bryan brothers.
